This is normally not visible, because most systems don't have batteries, normal boots do not include the "ro" kernel param or have an initrd, that does fsck and remount, but since both kernel and mkinitrd are not working on this system, I used the original kernel with it's Ubuntu-made initrd (which works fine when not on battery). With disastrous results: GNOME3 does not start XFCE does not start. Is this a transient failure until libstartup-notification has been rebuilt or does this need a proper fix? Instead we just need to send postscript over a network - how hard can that be :-) After compound failures using the local CUPS http:// setup, I tried the yast2 tool. I select the type of printer I have, and then I see this dialog. However, YaST uses NFS v3 not regarding the status of the checkbox. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open YaST / Software / Installation sources 2. Start to add an NFS share: enter the NFSv4 server address and check the NFSv4 checkbox. 3. Browse for the server shares. Actual Results: The browse will result the NFSv3 shares. What is more, if I enter the correct NFSv4 path the system will not recognize the installation source.
