Hey, Some combo report, since I didn't send mine last week, it seems... Week 46 ======= What I did last week (so, hrm, two weeks ago): - sent GNOME 3.0 release date and 2.30 new modules announcement - fixed the import of userid in test build service - holiday on wednesday - triage bugs - some packaging for factory - tried to push the french community to participate with a booth at one of the big event in France. Didn't get enough reply yet to be sure it can be done... What I plan to do this week (that is, last week): - attend UDS while still being in touch with the world Week 47 ======= What I did last week: - attended UDS. Lots of discussion, I'll send a separate report. - tried to help with poppler maintenance, and gave some hints for internal stuff - did some upstream work during UDS, fixing bugs and starting some code cleanup in some of my modules, as well as staying on top of the GNOME Foundation stuff - looked for people to run for the openSUSE board, and had some chats about this - helped find the fix for SUSE Studio / openSUSE 11.2 GNOME blocker issue What I plan to do this week: - code to maintain the osc collab service without the high load on the server (I'm cheating, since I'm in the middle of this right now, so it's not really a plan anymore ;-)) - packaging for factory - start planning some amazing "I have lots of info about upstream" web service (web service to get upstream versions, at least that's the first step). This is needed to merge the collab stuff with the factory.o.o work. - start realizing I have action items for the GNOME Foundation What has been annoying me: - I'm really unsure what should be done with poppler for security updates: it seems we have nobody with enough knowledge (and time, I guess) to make sure everything goes smoothly :/ - I also wanted to review upstream patches that are waiting in bugzilla, but couldn't manage it Cheers, Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+help@opensuse.org
