The results shouldn't be visible until the vote has ended. People could poll regularly and reconstruct who voted what etc. That's not neccessary.
- Users.o.o had much nicer graphs on participation, results. We may create those manually with an external tool. I would be fine to show how many people already voted.
- We need to announce the election to all members. Users.o.o had a function for this. To do this manually we need at least a list of all members emails.
Can you elaborate what announce means? Individual emails? Sure, you need a way to approach every member individually by mail to send instructions, notifications etc.
- Is it ok that one can see which user already voted, and when he voted?
Not ok to see who already voted and who not. Ok to see how many voted or not.
- The vote is now restricted to the group 'members'. Does this mean it is only visible for them, or can everyone see it?
Only the group members can see it. Try it yourself with the geeko:opensuse demo account.
