The issues I currently see are:
- Start- End-date: Users.o.o had this configureable. In case of need we can click at the right time, but I don't see how to end a vote.
Change the access level to the board group.
- The results shouldn't be visible until the vote is done. Maybe it's also ok if only users that already voted can see the intermediate results?
Why? whats the problems with this? Its like the 15:00 Hochrechnung :)
- It would be nice if we could add some introductory text above the poll options.
True.
- Users.o.o had much nicer graphs on participation, results. We may create those manually with an external tool.
Yeah, we just do a nice news.o.o posting
- We need to announce the election to all members. Users.o.o had a function for this. To do this manually we need at least a list of all members emails.
Can you elaborate what announce means? Individual emails?
For the last elections we sent out individual mails to the members. If that's sufficient we can also do announe it on the lists only.
- Is it ok that one can see which user already voted, and when he voted? By constantly monitoring you could create a list which member voted for wich candidate. - The vote is now restricted to the group 'members'. Does this mean it is only visible for them, or can everyone see it?
Only the group members can see it. Try it yourself with the geeko:opensuse demo account.
- The site needs more design love.
Where?
Lots of small things, just what I noticed: - The textfield at the top right does not say anything - The 'Tools' Link needs an arrow down icon - The 'Dashboard' is empty by default, can we add some default content? - The frontpage has no introduction text what this app is about - Images in the activity stream are not correctly alligned - Polls on the frontpage need a description not just a name - The Help link at the bottom of the page only links to a technical description of the elgg framework - Latest members with 25 times the same grey image does not look good, also we should not use the term 'members' here maybe Greetings -- Thomas Schmidt (tom [at] opensuse.org) openSUSE Boosters Team "Don't Panic", Douglas Adams (1952 - 11.05.2001) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+help@opensuse.org
