Hi,
What I did two weeks ago:
- Post-FOSDEM mails and action items
- GNOME Advisory Board meeting
- Submitted talks to GNOME.Asia, since I'll be there (sponsored by
GNOME Foundation)
- openSUSE 11.4, openSUSE 11.4, openSUSE 11.4
What I did last week:
- openSUSE 11.4, openSUSE 11.4, openSUSE 11.4, openSUSE 11.4,
openSUSE 11.4, openSUSE 11.4, openSUSE 11.4, openSUSE 11.4,
openSUSE 11.4, openSUSE 11.4, openSUSE 11.4, openSUSE 11.4,
openSUSE 11.4, openSUSE 11.4, openSUSE 11.4, ...
- Submitted fixes for 4 or 5 security issues
- Helped with a L3 bug
- Did I mention I worked on 11.4?
- GNOME team meeting
- Got invited to talk at some HP EMEA technical event in March; will
talk about SUSE Studio and the Build Service. And the good news is
that it's 15 minutes away from my home, by bike:
http://hp.inviteo.fr/HPC_OSL_TES2011/
- Oh, and I fixed some issues in 11.4. I keep finding bugs that were
there for a while but that nobody noticed until now :/
What I will do this week:
- Cry as I'll find new 11.4 bugs
- Fix some more 11.4 bugs, that we'll likely push as online updates
- Go back to "dude, you're late for this GNOME 3 stuff" mode upstream.
There's a UI freeze this week, and I have patches to review...

Hi.
Last weeked on FOSDEM. Stuck all the time in ine of the crossdistro devrooms
making and editing videos.
Monday & Tuesday compensation timeoff.
Spend Wednesday to Friday mostly with reworking some videos that were in a bad
quality after my first transcoding.
Ordered playlists on opensuse.blip.tv ans Youtube according to the official
schedule on the FOSDEM page.
Debvideo guys asked to mirror the videos. They were asking about the license
of the videos. Since I declared most of them als CC on blip.tv I'd suggest to
make that the official license for all the videos. Objections?
Packaged synergy 1.3.6 appeared end of January 2011. Submitting to the
appropriate devel project after some testing.
Held first brainstorming meeting about the Nuremberg 11.4 release party.
Raw outline:
- date: Wed, March 16th 2011 (the week after release)
- in Café Artefakt in central Nuremberg, near the trainstation
- since there is no budget from Novell/SUSE side attendees have to pay for
food/drinks
- openSUSE beer "Old Toad" is sold for 1€
- try to get some entertainment: maybe live music or a DJ (to be coordinated)

Hi,
some time ago, we tracked our *.opensuse.org pages with google analytics.
We dropped this feature for various reasons now, but it would be nice to
have an alternative for our website statistics.
I've setup a test instance of piwik[1] at:
https://features.opensuse.org/piwik/index.php
Read-only username: boosters, password: opensuse
This instance is tracking only openfate at the moment.
What do you think of it, should we use it for all our sites and set it up
in our infrastructure?
Greetings

Present: Henne, Vincent, Klaas, Christpher, Coolo, Tom, Pavol, Will
* General
** New rule for traveling and hardware:
Whenever you spend a $ on travel or hardware you need to send a
report about it to Roland so he is informed what happens.
** Tom investigated piwik a bit and we decided to go for it as analysis
tool for openSUSE. Tom will move it to beans.opensuse.org
** 11.4 Release parties.
The party in Paris is on track for 18/19 of March in a restaurant.
Vincent Steenhoute the organizer got Supplied with goodies on
FOSDEM.
The party for Nürnberg is planed for the 16th of March in a local
Bar (artefakt-nuernberg.de) with musical program, a DJ and other

For Praque the party is waiting for confirmation of when the promo
DVD's are ready. They still are hopeful to do this in the 12th

** Izmails visa came through. He's expected in the Nürnberg office
middle of march. Every other staffing decisions are still on hold.
