Installing Opensuse 11.1 with braille
Hi all, I have just subscribed to this list. I have downloaded the 11.1 Beta5 installation DVD and I have pressed F9 and selected installation. However, none of my braille displays seem to be detected. Will I need to do something else after I have pressed enter on installation or should BRLTTY detect the display and start the installation program? Best regards and thanks, Christian -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: blinux+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: blinux+help@opensuse.org

I have just googled around and found some more info. I am new to Opensuse and wasn't sure how your system was working until now. I will be connecting my Humanware brailliant 40 to the serial port and set it to use the Baum protocol and see if that works. I also have a Powerbraille 40, but i didn't see that in the list of supported braille devices. If this doesn't work i'll try to use my old Apollo instead. Best regards, Christian
