Percona XtraBackup license questions

Hello, this is about the package server:database / xtrabackup which I would like to bring into openSUSE:Factory. https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=xtrabackup&project=server%3… https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/128577 The upstream code license is GPL-2.0, the upstream documentation license is CC-BY-SA-2.0. Both code and documentation are contained in the upstream source tarball from which the package is built. Currently the documentation is ignored. What should the license of the resulting source package and binary packages be? Percona has a trademark policy which is one reason why I do not create the documentation from the sources, as they contain Percona's names, logos, contact information and trademarks. http://www.percona.com/doc/percona-xtrabackup/trademark-policy.html Should generating a documentation package from these source be attempted? What would the licenses of the packages be if I add a documentation sub-package? The package also contains specific source distributions of MySQL 5.5.17 and 5.1.59. These are pristine as distributed by the MySQL project and patched during the build with patches in the xtrabackup sources. As all sources involved are GPL-2.0 I don't see a problem there, albeit the sources were obtained from a Percona server. Licence issue with the Projects > security > nikto package

Working on a w3af packe, I have recognized, that the nikto package have a possible license issue. Licensing question about libraries

All, Can all openSUSE approved licenses link together assuming a library has one license and the caller another? == My specific case is a library with "BSD with Advertizing" being called by an app with a CPL and IBM License. I currently have "sleuthkit" in my home directory linking that way and would like to push it to security (and factory) but I'm not sure if that's acceptable or not. And I think there are no international meta-rules for the applying system of law/jurisdiction (maybe apart from war-crimes). In Europe we have at least an some (not complete) meta-rules for that: written law but with not many decisions of courts jet. Thread: *Spezielle Probleme der Einführung der Versionskontrolle* ("gesichtete und geprüfte Versionen") * Eine Markierung als "geprüft" birgt die eine noch höhere Gefahr, für die Fehler anderer haften zu müssen. * Sollte man die Versionskontrolle zumindest für "geprüft" im dewiki abschalten oder nur begrenzen (per sozialer Regel gerichtet an Menschen, nicht an die Programme)? * Wie kann man die automatische Sichtung abschalten? -> entweder so dass 2. Klick erforderlich wäre oder gar immer nur Sichtung durch einen zweiten Sichter möglich? * Markierung als "geprüft" oder "gesichtet" (in der Regel) nur durch anderen als den Autor? Kein Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit oder auch nur Abdecken aller schlimmsten Bugs.
