Autoyast starts ok, but when i reach the "software configuration" stage, it exits with "error with your software selection"

My setup is according to the SuSE documentation, both in the HOWTO and on the WWW.

It seems that the client os not requesting the driverupdate file at all. What determines if the client requests the driverupdate file or not?

The last error entry in the /var/log/Yast2/y2log complains about /media.1/product but wget retrieves this ok.
