I can not get the autodetect working with suse 10.0 to produce sound in gnome/kde. Tried this without success. <configure> ... <sound> <autoinstall config:type="boolean">true</autoinstall> <configure_detected config:type="boolean">true</configure_detected> </sound> ... </configure> However, Yast sound add and yast sound playtest work just fine.
