Novell customer asked the following:

"Currently, we can set the XML AY profiles to install to /dev/cciss/c0d0 or /dev/sda for example.

In the case of servers with Boot-from-SAN or Solid State Drivers, this can cause some device naming confusion.

Wouldn’t it be cool if AutoYaST could take the device type (i.e. “IBM 2145”), size of disk or LUN ID as a parameter to determine the partition layout to apply?"

Is this currently possible?
