[opensuse-artwork] Question

Yes it would. Especially since much of marketing artwork borrows from other areas. Such as using the desktop wallpaper as the background for slide presentation templates. We've already had enough confusion in the past. having a single place now has almost totally eliminated the "ok where is that piece I need to look at?" situation we had for years. In the beginning days, yes definitely. I think its gotten much better as we have more clearer subfolders where to put things. But still we have to keep a close eye to make sure things stay in proper folders. Still too much of that where people aren't paying attention to that. Putting t-shirt design under conference folder instead of t-shirt folder is an example. Even if we split up into two githubs for marketing and distro artwork, we'd still have the messy "not putting in right sub-folder" saga. We just need to pay attention to where things go.
