Hi, all, I forked bento wordpress theme from gitorious.org/openSUSE/wp-themes to github.com/marguerite/bento (LICENSE MIT) Because our project has a common web resource url like static.opensuse.org, As we can see, everything it fetches is static. But as a wordpress theme it's not quite user friendly. Because as a personal blog, your copyright belongs to Novell? or you can't even find your site name in the index? Well, seems no one initially think about that there're users and local openSUSE promotion sites would like to use bento. eg: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-marketing/2011-01/msg00318.html eg: http://opensuse.or.id/ eg: http://suse.ws/ So I mixed wordpress native php function to please our boosters and static.opensuse.org to please our official sites. functions like: if (get_bloginfo('url') === "news.opensuse.org" || get_bloginfo('url') === "lizards.opensuse.org" ) { get_remote_url('footer'); } else { // do normal wordpress footer Copyright@<?php the_date('Y');?>, <?php bloginfo('name')?>. openSUSE and SuSE are trademarks of Novell, Inc. in the United States and other countries. } So anyone, if accepted, can fetch and merge my code into github.com/openSUSE/opensuse-themes or gitorious? Hi folks, I'm completing an .odt file that will contain the complete schedule of the openSUSE Summit. This file will be converted to .pdf format and be available for download on the Summit website. Before doing that, I'd like to ask someone on the artwork team with expertise in "artful" layout of documents to review it and clean up the layout before we publish it. Any volunteers? I should have my file ready by end of today and if possible, we upload the file sometime by early Monday/Tuesday. Thanks! KDE login screen in 12.2 is strange looking, not simple as some elements suggests. http://paste.opensuse.org/7206708 is what I see after installation in a Virtual Box. I actually don't know where to start. To make email shorter here are my comments: http://paste.opensuse.org/36344173 And here is a fast mockup of what I think will look better: http://paste.opensuse.org/34977242 As fast mockup, I meant that there was no time to fix every detail, so there is many copy paste errors, mainly due to gradients that I did not try to fix. Shadow of openSUSE logo in a dark gray area is intentional. I like that way.
