[opensuse-arm] no TUN in kernel?

I just tried to use openvpn on the CuBox. I got this error in /var/log/messages: Note: Cannot open TUN/TAP dev /dev/net/tun: No such file or directory (errno=2) Looks as if there was no support for TUN so I checked: linux:/etc/openvpn # modprobe tun FATAL: Module tun not found Does this mean that the kernel was compiled without TUN or is something else going wrong? Try this one http://www.cristianrodriguez.net/test/kernel-cubox-3.7.7-0.armv7hl.rpm that should do the trick. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org

Yep, fantastic! I wonder could we push whatever changes you made to the openSUSE (CuBox) kernel? I am still working on improving the config for my cubox.. I will send a patch when I think it is good. for the moment, other than allowing you to run openvpn.. -systemd should work completely fine. - you should be able to use webcams, USB digital TV adapters, assorted USB devices all that with the kernel linked above. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
