I have for all three a spare system, so whatever works is OK.

Do you have an error?

For Raspbian I found to enter start_x=1 and gpu_mem=128 in config.txt or rather extraconfig.txt. However I could not find anything about the camera in the my RPi3 system with openSUSE Tumbleweed after entering these lines.
