A quick search on the list haven't returned anything recent, so just to
check: does someone has an image for the RaspberryPi laying around, which I
could test on my shiny new board? I'm aware that the project currently
focuses on different platform version, but maybe some people have been
doing some pioneering already :-)
I also understand that it is important to have focus, but given the huge
interest and growing availability of the RaspberryPi, this little device
has a *lot* of potential. So I'd think that there is/will be demand for
(maybe a stripped down?) openSUSE version for it.
I made a new version of my basic Raspberry-Pi image:
It now contains
a current bootcode.bin from github
and current Factory packages.
except libopenssl, which is locked to an older version, because of
I branched an older working version into
and some day it might build...
On this basis I even got X11 with icewm running (on fbdev).
glxgears shows 11 fps
which is to be expected with software-rendering on a slow CPU
