Hi,
A quick search on the list haven't returned anything recent, so just to check: does someone has an image for the RaspberryPi laying around, which I could test on my shiny new board? I'm aware that the project currently focuses on different platform version, but maybe some people have been doing some pioneering already :-)
I also understand that it is important to have focus, but given the huge interest and growing availability of the RaspberryPi, this little device has a *lot* of potential. So I'd think that there is/will be demand for (maybe a stripped down?) openSUSE version for it.
Regards, Gábor
I made a new version of my basic Raspberry-Pi image: http://www.zq1.de/~bernhard/linux/opensuse/raspberrypi-opensuse-20120807.img... It now contains a current bootcode.bin from github and current Factory packages. except libopenssl, which is locked to an older version, because of https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=774710 I branched an older working version into https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=openssl&project=home%3Abmwiedemann%3Abranches%3AopenSUSE%3AFactory%3AARM and some day it might build... On this basis I even got X11 with icewm running (on fbdev). glxgears shows 11 fps which is to be expected with software-rendering on a slow CPU Ciao Bernhard M. -- happy hacking -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-arm+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-arm+owner@opensuse.org
