Hello folks, We are happy to announce the availability of Uyuni 2024.10! Most openSUSE mirrors should already have 2024.10, but if you do not see it yet, wait a few hours until your local openSUSE mirror is synced. At https://www.uyuni-project.org/pages/stable-version.html you will find all the resources you need to start working with Uyuni 2024.10, including the release notes, documentation, requirements and setup instructions. Please remember, this release of Uyuni 2024.10 is ONLY available as containers (no more RPM releases). Those containers are now based on openSUSE Leap 15.6, and are to be deployed on top of an openSUSE Leap Micro 5.5 server. Some of the highlights for this release include: - Support for Ubuntu 24.04 - Support for SUSE Linux Micro 6 - Compressed POS image templates - New ISO-8601 date format for API endpoints Please refer to the release notes for the full details: https://www.uyuni-project.org/pages/stable-version.html#releasenotes Remember that Uyuni follows a rolling release planning, so the next version will contain bugfixes for this one and any new features.
