SUSE Linux 10.1 Alpha3 is ready, and the first mirrors have it published. I've announced the changes already yesterday, so you find them at the end again for convenience. Please report bugs in http://bugzilla.novell.com . A list of known issues will appears on: http://www.opensuse.org/index.php/Bugs:most_annoying_bugs Note: Alpha3 will be followed by Alpha4 in four weeks, Alpha3 is not supported and we advise to not use it on production systems. Delta isos are also available and should be used by those that have Alpha2 ISOs, please read the README inside the directory for details. The affected packages are banshee and f-spot. * Internet test will not work since downloading to patches is not setup. * wpa_supplicant does not work with madwifi based cards, like Atheros chips. NetworkManager also seems unable to access such cards. SUSE Linux 10.1 Alpha3 is ready, since our mirrors are still syncing, I've only uploaded the torrent files to ftp.opensuse.org. Everything else will go online at 11am UTC on friday. New significant changes in 10.1 Alpha3 since 10.1 Alpha2: Further details are - and ongoing changes will be - documented at http://www.opensuse.org/Factory-News .
