Please do ;-)
I don't seem to have something in my media dir. I copied the contents of the DVD's over to a NFS share. I was able to boot from a 9.1 cd, init the network card and start the install. It fails, however, on the Software Selection section saying it can't determin the packages. Is there something broken on the DVD's? Is there a patch or updated file I can get to make this work? B-)
Umm, I do this all the time... What command did you use to copy the DVD? I use cp -a... Are you using an NFS installation?. I think there may be some directory structure assumed in this form as the NFS is actually designed to read a DVD shared directly via NFS... hmmmm, I did not use -a, i used -r. I have been bitten by the "non-preserve" copy before. It wouldn't suprise me. Thanks for the suggestion... I'll give that a try. On 9.1, I had done the same thing and WAS able to do a network install from a dvd source dir created with "cp -r". Not that that means anything.... B-)
