sun v20z dual 250 opteron - grub install error
Has anyone successfully installed 9.2 on the following piece of hardware: - Sun v20z - Dual 250 Opteron I recieved an install error when attempting to write the MBR and install grub config. Before I post the full length error, I figured I would see if anyone had success with an install on this particular set of equipment. If you installed 9.1 successfully, then that would be nice to know too. Cheers, -.mag

I didn't run an installer, but I booted an IDE disk with SuSE 9.1 that had been partly updated to 9.2 on one of these with 2 Opteron 248's installed (I'm sure that last part wouldn't have made a difference). Anyway, the IDE disk had the GRUB bootloader and it booted fine, for what it's worth.
