I recently updated my system with the new libzypp updates. I then downloaded and installed all of the patches that it recommended. Now, however, I noticed my KDE screensaver has quit running. I can go to kde->configure desktop->screensavers and select any screensaver that i want and they all appear to work from there. I can even right-click my desktop and "lock" my screen, and the screensaver kicks right in. However, my screensaver does not start automatically after its designated time has lapsed. I have tried this with and without DPMS enabled, with no luck. Does anyone have any idea what went wrong? I'm using SuSE 10.1 with all of the latest updates, on an AMD Athlon 64, with a NVIDIA graphics card. Its a compaq r3000 series laptop.
