Playing DVDs on AMD64 system

Has anyone managed to get any DVD playing software running properly under SuSE 9 for the AMD64? I've got an ASUS K8V Deluxe MB and an NVIDIA GF5200FX video card, for what that's worth. I've been trying, with little success, to compile a working version of the 'Ogle' DVD player, but am running into all sorts of dependency issues with RPMs, and missing library issues compiling from source. If someone else has gotten this working, I'd be interested in hearing exactly what RPMs/source files you used and what steps you followed.
