I have a GigaByte K8N motherboard with 1Gig ram and 120gb SATA drive.
So what is your 1Gb of Ram? Corsair? OCZ? Micron? TwinMos? Kingston? What CPU version do you have? 3000? 3200? 3400? Is SATA supported by 9.1 out of the box?
Has been running since I built it with SuSE 9.0 (installed from patchCD & DVD's) this may also be of interest to you.

Yes I will wait until the 25th of May when AMD is supposed to unveil new AMD64 CPUs with socket 939 and I guess that motherboard manufacturers will unveil their socket 939 boards as well. My biggest worry is the RAM and the compatibility between the RAM modules and the board as it seems AMD64 boards (some of them?) are quite picky. Thanks. --
