Hi,
I am seeing filesystem corruption when attempting to test a 3ware SATA raid adapter with SUSE 9.0 professional 64-bit. In particular, if I mount the array and then copy a bunch of files from the root filesystem (which is on a standard IDE drive) random files _on the root filesystem_ get corrupted. This happens with both the driver shipped on the DVD and the latest driver from 3ware. I also tested with both ext3 and Reiserfs.
Can anyone verify that the 3ware adapter is working with this release? This is on a Tyan K8W board.

Which 3ware adapter do you have and what raid level are you running?
I have the 8506-4LP and I noticed quite a bit of peformance degradation when running raid 0 with the card. I switched to using the OS itself for raid 0 and everything works very well.
I'm using SLES AMD64 8.2beta however. I've purchased Suse 9.0 amd64 but probably wont have it until next week. I can report back here my success or problems.
This is with an 8500-12 SATA raid controller. I should also mention that using the 32-bit SUSE 9.0 Professional on the same machine does not exhibit the corruption. Mike
