* What have you done already for openSUSE? * What are your plans for promoting openSUSE? Please tell us what you want to do the next 6 months. * Are you ready to start promoting openSUSE? * What do you think is the best kept secret of openSUSE? * Why do you love to do this? * How did you start with Linux/openSUSE? What is your level of experience? well I haven't exactly done something for openSUSE yet. However I'd like to change that. Anyway, I try to convince friends to use Linux but its sometimes really hard when people are so narrow-minded. I plan on giving a presentation as an introduction to GNU/Linux at my university.

What I can do for openSUSE really depends on how much time I have in the near future and I need to figure out if there is an interest of the students for Linux here at the university. I know that there has been a Linux User Group at my university, but they are not active anymore. I will asked them and maybe there is a chance to reactivate this group.

I would love to help people get started with Linux/openSUSE.

I started using Linux, when I installed Sabayon Linux in a dual boot environment as my first Linux. However this distribution was not user friendly at all, so I installed openSUSE 11.3 with KDE 4.4 and I use it ever since. Then openSUSE was the only operating system on my laptop. I believe this was about two years ago. I know that there's still much to learn about openSUSE and Linux. I would say that I have some experience with openSUSE, however I would like to learn more.

And yes, I am ready to start promoting openSUSE.

I don't know... what is the best kept secret about openSUSE?

I love to do this, because, I love my Linux operating system. I fully support and agree to the ideas behind open source. I like the idea that there is a great community where everybody helps each other not because they get money but because they want to help. I think that's fantastic.
