Awesome.  I'd like to suggest JDD to join in as he is in France as well. And perhaps reach out to Vuntz?

I had already added this event to our event calendar [1] a while ago as "unclaimed".  If you can add your name to it and create a wiki page of the event to link to, that would be greatly appreciated.  :-)

I would like to, but I can't know if I will have time and money for that - I have now some family problems related to my mother's age (92 :-)

While I have no idea what it would cost you to travel to Paris, I would like to point out that you do have the option to apply for travel assistance via the recently-announced Travel Sponsorship program. I would love an excuse to revisit Paris. But alas, that won't be possible. :-( I'd also like to point you to another Paris event in September. Open World Forum + OSDC.fr which is listed in the Events page. But seems there is no announced date yet. Perhaps you can keep an eye out and organize it when it is ready? Thanks!
