Of course they like to say hello, they are a new member of our growing team and they should say Hi! In what world did you grow up? Besides, the mails are send by AJ, not by them so don't act like it is their fault. AJ asked them to do this, and he was right in doing so.
Feel free to ignore those introductions if you don't like them, but I do, and considering the number of people who respond to them it seems clear others like them too.
