Next meeting for the Greek openSUSE Community

We finally decided that the next meeting of our community will take place at Friday 19/11 at 20:00 UTC (22:00 Greek time) on IRC at Freenode #opensuse-el We will discuss among other things about the future of our community, the organization of teams about OBS,Wiki,a translators team and an edu LI-F-E team. We will also discuss about the targets that we want to succeed as a local community and put some dead-lines on them. The meeting will be in Greek language and its an open meeting to everybody. Lights, Camera, Action! (Sorry for the cross posting but I want to make sure everyone see this) Hello. This is the second call to all openSUSE Ambassadors. We are working on a video to add to the wiki and to show that we are golbal community. We did one already that was shown at OSC10, but we didn't get a lot of people as you can see. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKH_MxTI-mU (Thanks Koushik Nundy for uploading this to You Tube) We want more. Here are the guide lines. 1) A video about 1 minute. Intro yourself, where you are from, and then says. I am Geeko -or- I am Lizard. Both in English and your native tounge. 2) Please use some type of marker to let me know where you begin and where you end. 3) Please check your audio before sending, we are going to add music so if you are soft or the audio is low, we won't be able to hear you. 4) If you don't have video, send me a picutre with audio. I will working it. 5) Please give give me your name and nick so that I can tag in the video. 6) Have fun. :-) I haven't turn on ftp site. 11.3 Late Launch Party

Yesterday we had the party done finally.We know we were late but it turned out that it worth-ed the waiting. What we had: -We had openSUSE dvd's -We had balloons -We had stickers we made -We had fliers we made -We had a Cake -We had party gear (horns-whistles etc.) -We had a Rock bar for us -We had me as a DJ-VJ -We had Stathis welcoming people -We had beer's (not free unfortunately ;-) ) -We had about 25 openSUSE people We had a lot of fun,we rocked until dawn,we got drunk,among all this we talked about the community we are building and we decided to arrange some meetings so that we can form work-groups for OBS and LI-F-E. People liked what we did so far as a community and they want to become a part of all this. I believe that this is a great success.
