The help says:

││Enter the short name for this computer (e.g. mymachine) and the DNS domain ┬│
││(e.g. example.com) that it belongs to. The domain is especially important if││
││this computer is a mail server. You can view the hostname of you computer ││

So at some point in time at least it was possible to define the domain name in
yast. Why not now, what has changed? (honest question).
I assume that if the option has been removed intentionally, it is no longer
possible to set it up.
