Hi,

first i am not sure on what LIST i should asked questions.
so if this is wrong, please point me to the correct one.
(email client is always open, browser seldom, so mailing
lists are the place to asked in my opinion)

did anybody use the gcad3d from the tumbleweed 64bit (maybe others
also affected) repo on a fresh install?

i installed it and start it from console
and get a lot of messages of missing files / directorys:

but when i:

download from homepage:
http://www.gcad3d.org/
gCAD3D-2.35-bin-amd64.deb (it seems a little bit older than suse rpm)
checking the contens and copy ONLY the missing stuff to correct place
(opensuse rmp still installed)

./usr/lib/gCAD3D/binLinux64/xa_print__.so to
/usr/lib64/gCAD3D/binLinux64/xa_print__.so
./usr/lib/gCAD3D/binLinux64/plugins/tst.so to
/usr/lib64/gCAD3D/binLinux64/plugins/tst.so
./usr/share/gcad3d/examples.gz to /usr/share/gcad3d/examples.gz.
./usr/share/gcad3d/gCAD3D.desktop to /usr/share/gcad3d/gCAD3D.desktop.

at first start it installes and makes directorys in
/home/myuser/.gCAD3D
and id did not claim the missing files / directorys.
also print dialog from gCAD3d now works.

if this is a bug of the package ((i think so) but i guess if you install this
package over
a existing version all will be fine)
i would be happy if somebody write the bug report.
(i am only user and have never done this on bugzilla or where ever)

and.... if this is a unmaintained package, for me (and maybe others) it's
better it is like it is and not to delete it.......

regards,

simoN
