Never use BTRFS on an SSD. Even the BTRFS devs don't recommend it.
They use to flat out say don't do it.

Now after 4.14+ they just say its not optimized, and won't trim

guess my box is an anomaly. I have tw with btrfs root on ssd and
have for at least 5+ years.


Theory and practice are often at odds! Thank $deity for the brave
experimentalists.

I'm also using btrfs on both ssd and spinning rust, though not as long as you.
