All scripts start out owned by users (where do you think
'root's come from?). But the user can submit version
1.0 of the the script to the root-user for inclusion in
some place like "/usr/local/bin". Then the user can't
make changes unless they release a new version to the
root user. ;^|

No one else has any business using this script. It's private. If they
want, they must get their own computer.
