My ISP is finally rolling out IPv6. One thing that's required is for

I don't see anything in Wireshark that would indicate it's making that

Hi, have you tried the ISC DHCP Client - dhcp-client? It seems to have
taken over from dhcpcd in opensuse and appears to support DHCPv6-PD.

Well, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=836702 is not very
encouraging. Also, it requires far more complicated setup - you somehow
need to do something useful with delegated prefix and in case if
dhclient the only possibility is apparently via hook scripts.

dhcpcd is far more easier because it automates processing - request
prefix on one interface and allocate it to another, completely without
any external tweaks.

Also we have at least one confirmation that dhcpcd works, at least in
newer openSUSE version.

I've been following this thread with interest and wondered why dhcpcd
was dropped from factory at the beginning of 2015 maybe your problem is
the reason why.

wide-dhcp looks also quite promising; it is similar to dhcpcd in that it
automatically gets prefix on one interface and assigns on another.
