Yes (one particular group, „dinosaurs“ is very wide term), but not the lineage
leading to Pterodactyl - that lineage ended up.

Also, along that line of thinking aren't we all ancestors of fish? That
would make it a school. :-)

Well, again, all tetrapods are ancestors of one particular fish lineage. The
only living „uncle“ is Latimeria. All other fish are more like cousins, not
like grant parents...
What a nice off-topic discussion. Shouldn't it be moved to appropriate ML? :-)
