Did not work - On 12.2 (can't upgrade at this time) - HP Officejet 6500

I tested it before I sent it, and it worked on 12.3 using a Laserjet 1606.

I suspect it might be something in your hplip settings or such, not knowing
how to print in landscape on that particular device.
With these things I often used "print to poscript" from acroread. Then I
would visualize the generated postscript in gv (for instance) and then
print it or not.

Acroread tries to be clever, cups tries to be clever, hplip tries to be
clever... not everything works right in team.

All I did was change the printer driver from - hpijs - to - hpcups - and it worked.
