KDE has several plasmoids monitoring temperature, which You can customize and
place anywhere to desktop and/or panel(s).
All the best,

kSysGuard has temp monitoring capability. I usually add a tab for the
Hardware Sensors, then drill
down to coretemp form the selection tree.

Why are you still on KDE 4.10.5 when
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Release:/411/openSUSE_12.3/
will get you upt to 4.11.4
which is very stable and very clean.
