Re: [opensuse] RE: Stability of systemd

Where you've been, and what you've done (regardless of how God-Like) does not
help the rest of us.

Maybe so, but its not about being god-like, its having seen enough ways of doing things to recognise an improvement when it comes along and to recall the can of worms that the version of UNIX tat USG foisted on us, and USG are the ones responsible for what we now call sysvinit.

They were also responsible for a lot of broken stuff and some abysmal code and abysmal egregious re-writes of things that were fine in V6, V7 and V8. We all spent a long time cleaning out that mess.

Having learnt flexibility and patience and learning from others how to make things work certainly helps me. My patience and willingness to learn might not help you, yes you are right about that, but I hope it sets an example to others who are not antagonistic to change.

How long did the whining go on when KDE2 went on KDE3?

The only universal constant is change. If a species can not adapt it
goes extinct. That's the law of the universe, adapt or die.
