Here means the current directory
Everywhere means your home directory

But if you start from and indexed directory things work totally differently
in a way that makes nepomuk less useful. No wonder the nepomuk adoption
rate is so sparse.

Yes, in short, "everywhere" in indexed dir means within all *indexed* dirs,
in a non-indexed dir it means $HOME. (and yes, one then needs to know in what
kind of dir he is to know what kind of results to expect)
IMO, either should everywhere always just use filenamesearch, or to combine
both searches when one is in a indexed dir...
