This is exactly what systemctl hibernate does, the equivalent to

- runs all scripts present in /usr/lib/systemd/systemd-sleep (currently none, bugs must be fixed in the kernel or in the particular application that fails suspend/hibernate)

- echo platform > /sys/power/disk

- echo disk > /sys/power/state
