What about that woman's shelter I mentioned, where that number might be used to help someone find a woman they're abusing? What about other situations where confidentiality might be desired, such as when a guy calls home from a bar and tells his wife he's at work? ;-)

I have call display (it even shows up on my TV, if I'm watching it) and I don't answer calls from numbers or people I don't recognize. I have voice mail and if it's important, they can leave a message. Some people also get my cell phone number, which they can call me on.
