I do not want html here, but for example, selecting fixed width font.
Placing figures (charts, graphs, screen photos) in context with the text.
Automatic paragraph indentation with reflow as the window of the
recipient changes width. Text tables.

As I said, I do not want it here, but it has advantages. We do have text
formatting normally with wordprocessors, nobody defends that we should
only use the features of a typewriter capabilities. Html brings similar
features to email.
