Thanks and best regards
J.K.

You could try http://www.stresslinux.org/sl/. It is a special "live distro" that contains several (stress) test
tools. It is based on opensuse (but doesn't use X). The test programs contained in this distro can also be
run from other linux environments such as your installed system, but this minidistro gives you all in one place
with no need for further "software hunting", and decouples the testing from your normal environment.

You could also use the burn tools from Intel: http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-math-kernel-library-linpack-download/.

This one https://www.passmark.com/products/bitlinux.htm promises to also test the graphics system. It uses numerous KDE
libraries so you should be fine running it on your opensuse installation.

Karl-Heinz
