Hi,

I have googled and googled and not found what I feel is an accurate or
up-to-date documentation on the recommended way to build a kernel for
OpenSuse. There is plenty of general information, but I have a feeling
that the most proper way is to build an RPM and install it? Can
someone refer me where I should look

I want to build a kernel with a patch
(https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/350841/) to get the touchpad
working on my Dell Precision M4500 so the kernel version that is in
11.3 is fine with me.

/Claes
