I had the same problem with pm-hibernate at the beginning of May and
solved it by building pm-utils from Base:System/pm-utils for
KDE4:Unstable. You can most probably fix your problem with pm-utils from :
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Base:/System/openSUSE_11.2
I've since updated to factory and don't have a problem anymore. The
