DFSee, by the way, is among other things an alternative to fdisk, but
much more versatile -- and it works with Linux, Windows, Mac (I
think), and OS/2. You can look at its website, or ask e.g. Felix
Miata (or anyone else who came from OS/2) about it.

I "come from" OS2 myself, but DFSee wasn't of my tools back then.

I used to do 3rd level OS/2 support at IBM Canada, as well as using it
myself for about 10 years. I never heard of it either.

It wasn't very well known last century. It's first public release was 1995,
between Warp 3 and Warp 4 releases. I didn't run into it until 2001, after it
was converted from freeware to shareware.

I'm still using OS/2 24/7 12.5 years after adopting its fulltime use.
Technically the version I use is called eComStation (v1.14), due this month
for release in version 2.0.

I used OS/2 from April 1992 until some time in 2002, when I switched to
Linux exclusively. I still have the Warp 4 box on my shelf, along with
other versions going back to 2.1, but I no longer have it installed. I
was at IBM from 1997 to 2000, the first time I was there, when I was
doing the OS/2 work.
