Hi all,

last weekend and today again, I cannot get the repos from
to work. Neither updates nor community repos work for me.
With the Online Update Config I get:

Download (curl) error for

Error code:

Error message: couldn't connect to host

Seen this before I think with the (curl) error ...

I tried in CLI:
zypper clean
zypper refresh
zypper up

No change

Any help appreciated.

It could be a network (your local) problem, try to ping toward

marco@linux-turion64:~> ping
PING ( 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from ( icmp_seq=1 ttl=56
time=209 ms
64 bytes from ( icmp_seq=2 ttl=56
time=207 ms

I have not noticed any problems with 11.1 and 11.2 so far.

I can actually go there with a web browser and open the repomd.xml

I could also download any *.rpm

Neither Update nor Community Repos still do not work. redirects for data to another server, using
potentiall ftp.

Please check with "strace zypper ref" to which hosts it connects
and where it fails (connect() systemcall).

Ciao, Marcus
