Hello,

I have opensuse 11 on the notebook. I want to switch off beep sound on
error message in yast.

For example, I run software manager, install some software and receive
some error during installation
(something wrong with the network for example and package can't be
downloaded, does not make sence) -
I receive a dialog telling me about this error and when I press OK it
makes "beep". Very annoying, I see the
error myself, I do not see much use in reminding me about it with this
additional beep each time, especially
if I'm not alone in the room and when such error messages appear rather often.

I have filled a bug report here (it is also related to the beep in
console and during ctrl+alt+backspace):
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=422649

and I have also found something similar here:
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=409499

But I would also be happy to switch off this beep everywhere in my
current system as soon as possible

thank's
