Hi All,

This is the output of my
/etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-eth-id-00:0b:db:45:90:15 file:

BOOTPROTO='dhcp'
BROADCAST=''
ETHTOOL_OPTIONS=''
IPADDR=''
MTU=''
NAME=''
NETMASK=''
NETWORK=''
REMOTE_IPADDR=''
STARTMODE='onboot'
UNIQUE='rBUF.IXG39LgsKr9'
USERCONTROL='no'
_nm_name='bus-pci-0000:02:0c.0'

I understand everything except what the UNIQUE= value is.
Could someone please be kind enough to enlighten me?

Thanks,

Phil
