OK, the modules are loaded. If you are using cable, satellite, etc, is
it set to the correct channel for TV? Also, please post your
/etc/modprobe.d/tv.

I am only using the video input from the vcr player via coax, and I tried to select the channel that the vcr is playing on (channel 4). I did that via command line as I couldn't find a way to do it via any gui, here is what I put in bash.
mplayer tv://4 /7
