Hello all,

strange hight load on CPU and slow work of system some time.
CPU is CoreDuo E6550, 2 Gb memory. Nvidia GT8500 with Nvidia drivers (x11-video-nvidiaG01 & nvidia-gfxG01-kmp-default)
Suse 10.3 64 bit. Installed one week ago only.

What is wrong in my system?

May be i must to disable "powerd"? i use it on desktop computer and not want to save any electricity.

Well, according to top, powerd isn't using many CPU cycles..
Maybe you should adjust its settings so that when the CPU
starts to get loaded, it will go from power-saving speed
to full speed sooner.
