Hello!

Is there any LVM caching in sles9sp3? We found the repeatable
database corruption with Sybase database in case of power lost. If
sybase device is setup on LVM logical volume the corruption is 100%
repeatable, but if sybase device is a regular partition made via fdisk
the database is OK.

No, there is no caching.

You must be seeing something else. Please try with SP4 and if it
persists, call support.

Lars
